• Continuous Monitoring of Examination Activities and a Timeline for Graduation Celebrations
The Benha University Council held its meeting chaired by Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, with the presence of:
• Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research,
• The esteemed members of the university council.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy opened the session by extending his congratulations to Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, on the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha, wishing that Allah brings these blessed days back to Egypt and the Islamic nation with goodness, prosperity, and blessings. He also conveyed his congratulations to the members of the university council, faculty members, staff, and students of the university.
The university president congratulated Prof. Hani Shehata on the confidence of the political leadership in appointing him as the Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, wishing him continued success and achievement in his duties.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy reviewed his participation in the global conference on digital education titled "Developing Education and Transition to the Era of Intelligence," which was held in Hubei Province, Wuhan, Central China. He held meetings with the President of the Central China Agricultural University and several leaders of Chinese universities to discuss enhancing cooperation and establishing joint academic programs with Chinese universities. This is part of Benha University's commitment to opening up to the world and international universities, which opens new horizons for scientific and research collaboration in various fields.
He also reviewed the progress of the second-semester examinations, which began in May, emphasizing the importance of providing calm and safe environment that ensures students' comfort during their exams, including proper ventilation in examination halls and providing drinking water for students during the exams, especially with rising temperatures. Additionally, he highlighted the need to raise the state of emergency in the medical administration and ensure the availability of medicines and medical supplies to address any emergencies among students.
The university president directed continuous monitoring to ensure the examinations proceed without any problems or obstacles and to work on resolving any issues that may arise.
He announced the timeline for graduation celebrations for students following the announcement of results, confirming that participation is optional for students and that the organization will be in accordance with the regulations set by the Supreme Council of Universities in this regard.
