Benha University in the Round University Ranking (RUR) 2025

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, the President of Benha University, announced the university's appearance in the Round University Ranking (RUR) for the year 2025. The university ranked 1067th globally and 23rd locally among 28 classified Egyptian universities.
Prof. El-Gizawy pointed out that the university's ranking is a result of the policies implemented in the field of international rankings, which led to various measures encouraging researchers to publish distinguished international scientific papers and support the dissemination of research in globally classified journals.
Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hady, the Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research, explained that the RUR ranking methodology relies on four main criteria:
1. Teaching
2. Scientific Research
3. International Diversity
4. Financial Sustainability
Each criterion consists of sub-indicators that evaluate university performance in various academic and research areas, reflecting the university's ability to attract students and faculty members from outside Egypt and enhance international research collaboration.
