President of Benha University: Literacy for 2,076 Citizens in April 2025 Course

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the university successfully achieved literacy for 2,076 learners according to the results of the April 2025 course, which were announced by the General Authority for Adult Education.
Prof. El-Gizawy confirmed that the university places great importance on the literacy project and is implementing it through its human resources, including faculty members and students, to eradicate illiteracy among citizens of Kalyobiya Governorate, under the supervision of specialists from the university participating in the project.
The university president pointed out that it has been emphasized to utilize the university's capabilities and resources to support state plans and participate in the national project for literacy and adult education, as part of the university's role in serving the local community and following up on the implementation of the state's plan to declare "Egypt Free of Illiteracy," achieving the goals of the sustainable development plan "Egypt Vision 2030."
Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, stated that the university is keen to participate in the national literacy campaign adopted by the state, with the involvement of several scientific and literary faculties within the university.
Prof. Fouda added that Benha University had signed a cooperation protocol with the head of the Executive Authority of the General Authority for Adult Education, believing in the university's role, its faculties, and its research centers in contributing to community service and environmental development by addressing national issues, primarily the issue of illiteracy, which poses real dangers to the growth and development of Egyptian society.
