Benha University President Participates in the Cross-Border Higher Education Dialogue at the Invitation of the British Council

An Egyptian delegation participated in the fourth edition of the Cross-Border Education In-Depth Dialogue, which was held in Cardiff, United Kingdom, at the invitation of the British Council and under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The Egyptian delegation included Prof. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, and Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University.
The delegation participated in the dialogue sessions, which brought together more than 47 higher education leaders from 22 countries around the world to discuss trends and strategies affecting the cross-border education sector. During its participation, the Egyptian delegation reviewed the general framework of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research and the comprehensive development witnessed by the higher education sector in Egypt over the past ten years, which has contributed to strengthening Egypt's position as a regional and international center in the field of cross-border education.
In-Depth Dialogue that organized annually by the British Council, is an international platform for exchanging insights and experiences between higher education leaders from around the world, with the aim of developing future visions that support the development of cross-border education to meet local and global needs.
