President of Benha University Inspected Several Student Projects at the Faculty of Engineering

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, inspected several student projects in the Mechanical Engineering and Architecture departments at the Faculty of Engineering in Benha. He was accompanied by Prof. Zainab Faisal, the Dean of the Faculty, the faculty deputies, and the supervising professors.
During the tour, the university president examined a project in the Mechanical Engineering Department, which involved an agricultural robot that uses artificial intelligence technology to address and combat agricultural pests. He also reviewed several projects in the Architecture Department, including the cultural link project for Al-Sha'ir Island in Kalyobiya Governorate, which aims to enhance handicrafts on the island and improve the working environment to make it attractive for tourism as part of the governorate's development plan. Additionally, he inspected a project to establish a research center for the development of marine algae use in New Abu Qir, a project to create a center for the protection of information and digital data, and an environmental construction project for recycling agricultural waste.
The president listened to explanations from the students about their projects, emphasizing the importance of making them applicable in real life and addressing genuine issues within the community. Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy stated that the students' ideas are inspiring, and the university is always striving to market these ideas and invest in our students' concepts to create job opportunities for them to build themselves. He praised the high level of students and the innovative ideas presented in their graduation projects, which reflect the effort made by all faculty members and the college administration to produce distinguished graduates capable of creativity, innovation, competition, and leadership in the labor market.
Prof. El-Gizawy pointed out that student projects represent the first steps toward building the future and working towards creating an environment conducive to student innovation and project development. He emphasized the importance of maximizing the benefits of these products and transforming them into real contributions that support the community, which in turn enhances their capabilities and demonstrates their potential to manage and lead projects. Therefore, we strive to provide a series of material and technical support through various supporting partners for student projects, while also considering their intellectual and creative products and minimizing the effectiveness of these projects to avoid wasting time and effort in their production.
