By Name: Benha University Council Announced the Winners of University Awards

The Benha University Council, in its recent meeting chaired by Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of the University, announced the names of the winners of the university's awards for pioneers, as well as various appreciation, encouragement, and scientific awards.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy congratulated the winners of the different university awards, noting that the winners were committed to enriching the academic and scientific process. They were selected based on the reports of the judging committee and in accordance with the approved awards regulations at the university.
Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research, stated that the judges' reports for the university awards resulted in the selection of Prof. Ali Mohamed Shams El-Din, former President of Benha University and professor emeritus at the Faculty of Agriculture, for the university award for pioneers in the field of life sciences.
Prof. Hosni Ahmed Abdel-Rahman, professor emeritus at the Faculty of Medicine in Benha and supervisor of the Sports Medicine Department, also won the university award for pioneers in the field of life sciences. Prof. Said Abu Saoud Ward, professor emeritus in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra, won the university's appreciation award in the field of engineering and technological sciences. Prof. Ismail Ibrahim Mohamed, professor emeritus in the Department of Mental Health at the Faculty of Education, received the university's appreciation award in the field of literary, social, and educational sciences.
Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Basyouny, assistant professor in the Department of Soils and Water at the Faculty of Agriculture, won the university's encouragement award in the field of life sciences. Prof. Nermeen Khaled Khalil, lecturer in the Department of Zoology at the Faculty of Science, received the university award for the best doctoral thesis in the field of life sciences. Both Prof. Said Sherif Abdel-Wahab and Prof. Ahmed Khidr Mahmoud, lecturers in the Accounting Department at the Faculty of Commerce, won the university award for scientific theses for the best doctoral thesis jointly in the field of literary, social, and educational sciences. Prof. Mohamed Hussein Rayhan, lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra, won the university award for scientific theses for the best doctoral thesis in the field of engineering and technological sciences. Prof. Soumia Sobhi El-Sayed, assistant lecturer in the Pediatric Nursing Department at the Faculty of Nursing, won the university award for scientific theses for the best master's thesis in the field of life sciences. Prof. Kirells Rushdi Wadie, assistant lecturer in the Chemistry Department at the Faculty of Science, received the university award for scientific theses for the best master's thesis in the field of basic sciences. Prof. Marwa Sayed Abu El-Majd, assistant lecturer in the Department of Mental Health at the Faculty of Education, won the university award for scientific theses for the best master's thesis in the field of literary, social, and educational sciences.
