Students from Benha University Participated in the International Summer School at Central China Agricultural University

The activities of the International Summer School between Benha University and Central China Agricultural University have commenced, as part of the cooperation protocol between the two universities in the field of student exchange.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, stated that in the framework of enhancing international cooperation and developing student competencies, six outstanding students from the faculties of Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, and Science at Benha University participated in the International Summer School event titled "Partners in Growth," which took place in July at Central China Agricultural University in Wuhan, China. This participation is part of the National Outstanding Talent Program in Biology 2.0 and the Chinese Government International Scholarship Program for 2025.
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized Benha University's commitment to supporting its students in international forums and enhancing their research and innovative capabilities, in line with global trends in the fields of biological sciences and sustainable agriculture.
the summer school activities were inaugurated on July 11, with the presence of representatives from the Office of International Cooperation, Higher Education, and Graduate Studies at HZAU, alongside scientific and academic delegations from several countries. Approximately 14 Egyptian students from Benha University and Al-Azhar University participated in the program, along with over 130 students from China and various countries around the world. The topics of the lectures varied, covering biotechnology, crop engineering, functional genomics, and global environmental challenges such as food security and climate change.
The two-week program included a variety of activities, including specialized workshops, hands-on training in laboratories, scientific visits to the Wuhan Biological Park, and meetings with researchers and participants from different nationalities, providing opportunities for the exchange of experiences and cultures.
