Benha University President congratulates Dr. Ali Shams El-Din after winning the State Pioneers Award in Agricultural Sciences

Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, on behalf of the University family, congratulated Dr. Ali Shams El Din, Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Agriculture and former President of Benha University, for receiving the State Award for Pioneers in Agricultural Sciences, which was announced by the Council of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology that headed by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
On behalf of the Benha University family, Prof. Nasser El Gizawy expressed his happiness and sincere wishes for Dr. Ali Shams El Din's success and prosperity, stressing that his receiving the State Pioneers Award in the field of agricultural sciences is a confirmation of his pioneering and founding role within Benha University, and also represents an appreciation from the state for the efforts of scientists in various fields.
Benha University has nominated Dr. Ali Mohamed Shams El-Din for the 2024 Pioneers Award, as he is one of the pioneers who have dedicated their scientific knowledge to drawing a new map in the world of agriculture and sustainable development.
Throughout his career, he has sought and contributed to developing the field of agricultural education and scientific research and bringing about tangible changes in the reality of agricultural communities.
Shams El Din also contributed to formulating agricultural development and food security policies and confronting climate change at all local, regional and international levels through his membership in several committees and his management of projects with the Ministry of Agriculture, research centers and international organizations.
