Benha University Achieves Distinction with Over 70% in the Egyptian Survey of Student Participations

Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the results of the Egyptian Survey of Student Participations, issued by the Supreme Council of Universities for the academic year 2024/2025 .
El-Gizawy pointed out that the survey aims to provide tangible and reliable data to aid in strategic and developmental decision-making, enhance communication between students and educational institutions, encourage a culture of constructive participation and interaction, and identify areas for improvement in the student learning experience. It also contributes to achieving the goals of the National Strategy for Higher Education, guiding national educational policies and programs to improve the quality of education, attracting a larger number of international students, and elevating the international ranking of Egyptian universities .
El-Gizawy added that approximately 6,972 male and female students, representing more than 30% of the graduating class, participated in the survey specific to Benha University. He noted that the University's excellence indicators scored higher than 70% .
The survey confirmed that the University offers diverse educational programs that meet the interests and goals of its students. The curricula are up-to-date and help students comprehensively understand their specialization and develop their culture. The courses employ diverse and innovative teaching methods to stimulate interaction and enhance understanding. The University also works to provide ample opportunities for students to receive feedback and constructive evaluations on their academic performance, as well as sufficient and fair opportunities to evaluate the courses and the educational program .
The survey also affirmed that the University's faculty possess the necessary skills and experience to deliver high-quality education and motivate students to learn, and that there is effective communication between students and faculty members for seeking academic help .
Furthermore, the University provides students with well-equipped and suitable lecture halls and classrooms. The Faculties' website or guide is useful for them, and the educational environment and facilities available at the institution—such as libraries and laboratories—meet their educational needs. The references and electronic materials used in the courses are of high quality and contribute to a good understanding of the subjects .
The University provides opportunities for practical training or enrollment in various training programs. The college fosters a climate conducive to innovation and learning. The University also facilitates opportunities for students to connect with experts in their field of study and provides adequate support for students of determination (people with disabilities) and those facing specific academic challenges .
