Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the University's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center is launching the training program for graduation projects (Phase One) from September 16th to 18th at the Benha University.
Prof.Dr. Gehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, confirmed that the program falls within the University's plan to support its students in innovation and entrepreneurship fields. This initiative is implemented in cooperation with the Medium, Small, and Micro Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.
She explained that the program targets final-year students (fourth and fifth years) for the 2025/2026 academic year. It focuses on preparing Business Plans with the aim of providing students with practical skills to transform graduation projects into executable entrepreneurial ventures.
For his part, Prof. Ayman Samir, Executive Director of the University's Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Marketing Center, indicated that the training program spans three days with a total of 21 training hours. He noted that it covers key topics including: •Introduction to business plans: their importance and the difference between them and business model canvases.
•Defining the project's vision, mission, and strategic objectives. •Marketing plan: market study, marketing mix, and competitor analysis. •Financial plan: sales, costs, break-even point, and financial statements. •Preparing the final draft of the project plan.
Prof. Ayman Samir stated that this training represents an important practical step to help students transform their graduation project ideas from mere academic studies into applicable entrepreneurial projects ready for implementation in the job market. He emphasized that the goal is to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among youth and support the state's efforts in finding innovative solutions to societal and developmental challenges.
