Benha University Participated in the 35th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for Higher Education in Sweden

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Jehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, are participating in the 35th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for Higher Education (EAIE), held from 9–12 September 2025 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The event is organized under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Egypt's Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and includes a large Egyptian delegation representing government, private, and national universities.
Prof. El-Gizawy stated in a press release today that the EAIE Conference is Europe's largest international higher education event, attracting over 7,000 participants from 100+ countries, featuring 200+ exhibition booths and 240+ sessions and activities. This year's theme, “Take Off into Creativity”, emphasizes innovation and collaboration, with participation from global policymakers, government representatives, and academic leaders.
He highlighted that Benha University's involvement aligns with its strategy to strengthen global partnerships and foster academic exchange. The delegation held bilateral meetings with international universities to discuss:
1. Faculty and student exchange programs (e.g., Erasmus+).
2. Joint dual-degree programs.
3. Knowledge investment and research collaboration.
4. Joint research projects funded by international bodies.
The EAIE Conference, organized by the European Association for International Education (founded in 1989 and headquartered in the Netherlands), serves as Europe's premier platform for advancing academic internationalization and global university cooperation.
