Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the approval of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to launch four new distinguished academic programs at the University's Faculty of Arts. These programs include: Digital Surveying and Cartography with Geographic Information Systems, Human Development, Media Correspondence, and Specialized Translation in Japanese. These programs will welcome and recieve students in the new academic year.
Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that these new academic programs align with Benha University's vision to prepare highly competent graduates capable of effectively contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals. These initiatives are designed to meet contemporary demands, serve society, and align with the needs of local, regional, and global job markets, as well as future career opportunities.
Prof.Dr. Amjad Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, added that this qualitative step complements the faculty's vision for distinguished academic expansion and keeping pace with labor market requirements through modern, specialized, and innovative programs.
He emphasized that the recent developments at the Faculty of Arts, whether through the introduction of new programs or the expansion of scientific departments, represent a qualitative addition to the faculty and open new horizons for students to achieve their professional aspirations.
