Benha University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Receives Chinese Experts to Teach at the Faculty of Arts' Chinese Language Department

Prof.Dr. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President of Benha University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, received two volunteer Chinese experts, Professor Feng Jingwen and Professor Chen Changyi, who will be teaching at the University's Chinese Language Department. The meeting was attended by Prof.Dr. Amjad Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Arts.
The meeting was also attended by Prof.Dr. Dina El-Tohamy, Acting Head of the Chinese Language Department, and Dr. Meligy Galal, a lecturer within the department.
Prof Dr. Gehan Abdel Hady emphasized that this visit falls within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between Benha University and the Chinese Language Exchange Cooperation Center (CLEC), affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Education in Beijing.
The protocol aims to dispatch international volunteers to support the teaching of the Chinese language at the University. She noted that the University has numerous joint cooperation agreements with several Chinese universities in the fields of student and faculty exchange, scholarships, and scientific research. She highlighted that the support for teaching Chinese at the University aligns with Egypt's growing interest in learning the Chinese language.
For his part, Prof.Dr. Amjad Hegazy added that the Faculty of Arts is keen on enhancing the quality of the educational process in the Chinese Language Department and the specialized Chinese translation program offered by the faculty among its distinguished suite of programs designed to meet labor market requirements. He stressed the commitment to providing a high-quality education for students to graduate qualified cadres in vital and specialized fields.
