Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Kalyobiya; Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University; and Major General Prof. Samir Farag, former Director of the Moral Affairs Department and military strategist, attended an educational seminar titled "Day of Pride and Dignity" organized by Benha University to commemorate the 52nd anniversary of the October 6, 1973 War victories.

Governor Ayman Attia thanked Benha University for the invitation and congratulated the people of Kalyobiya and the university community on the glorious October anniversary. He emphasized that October is not merely a month but a "spirit embedded in the national creed that shapes the Egyptian people, who prioritize faith in their homeland second only to faith in God." He noted that this year's commemoration coincides with Egypt's solidarity with Gaza, aligning with Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's vision to safeguard Egyptian national security amid regional changes.
Eng. Attia urged students to draw inspiration from October's spirit, stressing that "Egypt's developmental leap—new cities and mega-projects—was built by Egyptian hands, proving that nations thrive through their youth's awareness of their glorious past and promising future."
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy highlighted the October War's significance, stating it "restored Arab dignity and proved that steadfast will and meticulous planning can overcome any challenge." He praised the Egyptian military's historic crossing of the Suez Canal and the destruction of the Bar Lev Line, symbolizing Egypt's unbreakable resolve. He commended Mr. President El-Sisi's leadership in modernizing the military, combating terrorism, and advancing mega-projects like the New Administrative Capital and "Decent Life" initiative, which strengthen Egypt's regional and global standing.

Major General Prof. Samir Farag delivered a lecture titled "From the Victory of the Crossing to Present Challenges," analyzing Egypt's transition from the 1967 setback to the 1973 triumph. He emphasized strategic deception tactics, such as timing the attack on Yom Kippur and during Ramadan, and showcased clips from the film "Golda" depicting Israeli setbacks. He also addressed Egypt's stance on Palestinian rights and reconstruction plans for Gaza, urging students to "protect their land, army, and people through awareness, science, and patriotism."
Prof. Jehan Abdel Hadi underscored the seminar's goal to "highlight October's legacy and the Egyptian military's role in restoring national dignity." The event featured a documentary on the war, artistic performances by the university choir, and honors for October War heroes.
