14 Oct. 2025 - 10:15:01

The Faculty of Arts at Benha University organized a seminar titled "Career Future in the Era of Artificial Intelligence," under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, University President. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Amjad Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mesbah, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Sherin El-Shouri, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Prof. Dr. Sherin El-Shouri stated that the seminar was presented by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence for Education and Student Affairs, and was coordinated with Prof. Rania Moataz, Assistant University Secretary for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The seminar addressed the future of careers in the context of artificial intelligence, highlighting that the world is currently witnessing an unprecedented digital revolution led by AI technologies, which have become an essential part of our daily lives. With this rapid development, the question arises: How will AI impact the future of jobs? Will it threaten employment opportunities, or will it create new fields for creativity and innovation? The seminar confirmed that AI has already begun changing the nature of jobs as we know them. Some traditional roles are declining, while new jobs requiring advanced skills in data analysis, programming, and innovative thinking are emerging. This does not mean humans will be replaced by machines; rather, the human role will shift from execution to supervision, creativity, and planning.
Preparing for the future starts today. We must continuously develop our skills and embrace learning future-oriented skills such as data analysis, artificial intelligence, and programming, alongside human skills that machines cannot master, like critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and collaboration.
In conclusion, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah emphasized that artificial intelligence is not an enemy of humans but a new partner in the journey of development. The future will belong to those who can adapt, learn, and think flexibly. Let us make technology a means for progress, not a source of fear, and let us all be part of shaping the future.
