As Part of the "Touch of Loyalty" Initiative: Benha University Organizes Medical Convoy at Benha School for the Blind

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the university organized a medical convoy at the Benha School for the Blind. This initiative falls within the University's community and service-oriented role to serve the local community. The convoy was coordinated by Prof. Rania Moataz, Assistant University Secretary for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized Benha University's commitment to the continuous launch of humanitarian convoys by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector under the "Touch of Loyalty" initiative. This initiative was launched by the University to provide all forms of support and care to various segments of society, especially the elderly, orphans, and school children, thereby embodying its mission of community service and instilling the values of compassion and solidarity.
For her part, Prof. Dr. Nermin Adly, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, added that the convoy included medical specialties in: Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, and Pediatrics. A total of 169 cases were examined, provided with free medication, and some cases were referred to Benha University Hospitals to complete further medical examinations.
