The Faculty of Arts at Benha University organized a seminar titled "The Role Model Student: Digital Awareness and Refined Conduct Inside and Outside the University." The event was held under the patronage of Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of the University, and attended by Dr. Amjad Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Sherin El-Shoura, the Faculty's Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Dr. Amal Omar, the Faculty's Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
The seminar was delivered by Dr. Karima El-Hossary, a lecturer in the Sociology Department at the Faculty, and coordinated with Professor Rania Moataz, the University's Assistant Secretary for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The seminar addressed the concept of the role model student as a positive example combining high morals, digital awareness, and social responsibility both inside and outside the university. It focused on the importance of building a student's character capable of excelling academically and in values, in an era of accelerating technology and increasing digital challenges.
The seminar highlighted key digital awareness skills for female students, including:
* Safe and conscious use of social media platforms, avoiding cyberbullying and rumors.
* Protecting digital privacy by adjusting settings and being cautious about sharing personal data and photos.
* Using technology wisely for studying, time management, and scientific research.
* Verifying information before resharing to curb misinformation.
The seminar also discussed refined conduct inside and outside the university, such as:
* Mutual respect among students, faculty members, and staff.
* Punctuality, attending lectures, and making the most of university services.
* Constructive dialogue and resolving conflicts calmly and thoughtfully.
* Appropriate appearance reflecting a responsible and respectful personality.
* Preserving university facilities and instilling a culture of cleanliness and discipline.
* Positive representation of the university in external activities, volunteer work, and community engagement.
* Courteous interaction in public places, demonstrating values of respect and assistance.
* Taking responsibility in various situations and acting with wisdom and balance.
* Adhering to laws and public etiquette, reinforcing trust in the character of the university female student.
