Benha University Organizes an Awareness Caravan on Small Industries and Handicrafts in Shibin Al-Qanater

The Faculty of Applied Arts at Benha University organized an awareness caravan on small industries and handicrafts at the Youth Development Center in Shibin Al-Qanater. This initiative aligns with the university's commitment to encouraging the localization of handicrafts as a form of entrepreneurship aimed at economically empowering women.
The event was held under the patronage of Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University; Prof.Dr. Osama Nada, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts; and Prof.Dr. Nevin Farouk, the Faculty's Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. It was coordinated by Professor Rania Moataz, the University's Assistant Secretary for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Walid El-Faramawy, Director of the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Qalyubia.
The Caravan included a series of workshops to raise awareness among residents about various handicrafts and their importance to the individual and society. Training was provided on several crafts, such as bag and wallet making, hand embroidery, and jewelry crafting using wire and beads at the Youth Development Center in Shibin Al-Qanater.
