Benha University Organizes a Workshop on the Roadmap for International Academic Program Accreditation

Under the patronage of Prof Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy , President of Benha University, and Prof.Dr. Gehan Abdel Hadi , Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the University organized a workshop titled "The Roadmap for International Accreditation of Academic Programs at Benha University."
The workshop was led by Prof.Dr. Mohamed Mohamady Ghanem , Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Benha University, and Prof.Dr. Sahar Abdel Rahman , Deputy Director of the Quality Unit for International Accreditation at the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra.
Prof.Dr.Nasser El-Gizawy pointed out that Benha University provides all supportive facilities for the international accreditation of its programs through the continuous training of faculty members and the development and maintenance of infrastructure, ensuring the highest standards for achieving the quality of the educational process. He affirmed that Benha University has taken extensive and serious steps towards quality and excellence to be present in global rankings at advanced positions, by focusing on scientific research, which is one of the fundamental pillars of university work and development.
For her part, Prof.Dr. Gehan Abdel Hady , Vice President of the University, stated that this workshop comes within the framework of Benha University's keenness to support the direction towards international accreditation of academic programs, which contributes to enhancing the university's competitiveness locally and internationally, achieving its vision towards globalism and academic excellence, strengthening international rankings, student and faculty exchange, and international recognition of the university's programs, opening horizons for the job market at the regional and international levels.
Prof.Dr. Mohamed Ghanem said that the workshop covered a number of important topics, most notably: international accreditation standards in the fields of applied sciences, engineering, computer science, the health sector, nursing, commerce, business administration, humanities, and life sciences; the requirements for international accreditation; the components of the self-study report; in addition to reviewing the roadmap and executive steps to achieve international program accreditation, how to prepare accreditation files and supporting evidence, as well as ways to improve learning outcomes and ensure quality.
