During the Closing Ceremony of Student Activities at Benha University: "El-Gizawy": We are Committed to Building the Conscious and Responsible National Character of Students

Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, attended the closing ceremony for the university's student activities.The ceremony was held in the presence of Prof.Dr. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Taha Ashour, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; and the academic and administrative leadership of the University.
In his speech, Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy stated that honoring a select group of our distinguished students in student activities is not merely a celebration of their achievements. It is also a clear message that the university believes excellence is not confined to academic superiority alone, but also encompasses creativity, leadership, teamwork, and active participation in serving the community.El-Gizawy added that student activity is a real school for honing skills, developing capabilities, and building a well-rounded character capable of facing future challenges. He said that the successes you have achieved reflect a bright image of your university and confirm that investing in youth is the optimal investment for the nation's future.
The University President emphasized that student activities are not merely a means of entertainment or leisure; they are a fundamental pillar in building the conscious and responsible national character. Through them, the student learns the values of belonging, teamwork, respect for others, and contributing to community service. These activities also instill a spirit of initiative and leadership and reinforce a sense of responsibility towards the nation, so that the student becomes an active citizen contributing to its renaissance and progress, carrying the university's message of serving the community and the nation with full dedication.
El-Gizawy extended his thanks to those responsible for organizing this ceremony and to everyone who contributed to supporting student activities.Prof.Dr. Gehan Abdel Hady said that students' participation in activities contributes to building their character, helps them achieve academic excellence, and opens creative pathways for them, whether scientific, artistic, or cultural. Through these activities, the university seeks to change students' ways of thinking and apply them in daily life, which contributes to preparing talented and innovative young cadres.At the end of the ceremony, the University President and his accompanying officials honored a number of distinguished students who achieved first places in various student activities, including cultural activities, the Holy Quran competition, the Prophetic Hadith competition, religious chanting, television reporting, poetry, short story and article writing, novel writing, the cultural league, in addition to honoring distinguished students with disabilities in activities.
