Benha University's Shoubra Faculty of Engineering Wins the Innovation and Excellence Award at the Smart Transport and Electric Mobility Exhibition (EVs 2025)

Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the Shoubra Faculty of Engineering has won the Innovation and Excellence Award for its participation in the Smart Transport and Electric Mobility Exhibition (EVs 2025), held under the auspices of the General Syndicate of Engineers. The award recognizes the faculty's tangible efforts and achievements in the field of electric vehicles.
The participation included the presence of Prof.Dr. Mohamed Said, Dean of the Shoubra Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department at the faculty and supervisor of the Shoubra Racing Team (Electric Vehicles Team), in a panel discussion titled: "Excellence in Linking Academic Education with Industry – Shoubra Faculty of Engineering, Benha University."
The discussion addressed the University's role in supporting innovation and student projects, as well as enhancing the integration between academic education and practical application in the fields of sustainable transport and modern technology.
It is worth noting that Prof. Dr. Mohamed Said reviewed during the session the Shoubra Faculty of Engineering's strategy for supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, which aims to empower student teams to transform their ideas into applicable projects that are viable and competitive both locally and internationally. This contributes to linking scientific research with the needs of society and the requirements of sustainable development.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim also showcased a number of distinguished student team models, emphasizing that they represent one of the fundamental pillars of the innovation ecosystem and actively contribute to providing innovative engineering solutions that meet industry needs.
