Benha University Among the Top Universities in the Arab World in the 3rd Edition of the Arab University Rankings 2025

Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the University has achieved 58th place among Universities in the Arab world according to the 2025 Arab University Rankings.
This ranking is the result of collaborative efforts by the Association of Arab Universities, in cooperation with the League of Arab States, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), and the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils. The ranking included 236 universities from 20 Arab countries an increase of 56 universities compared to the first edition. Among 54 Egyptian universities (public, private, and national) included in this edition an increase of 6 universities from the previous edition Benha University secured 16th place nationally.
El-Gizawy added that the ranking is based on four key indicators aligned with the vision and needs of Arab nations: Teaching and Learning , Scientific Research , Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation , and International and Local Cooperation and Community Service.
Prof,Dr. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President of Benha University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, noted that the university achieved 69th place in the Arab world and 16th nationally in the Teaching and Learning indicator. In Scientific Research, it ranked 55th in the Arab world and 17th nationally. In Creativity and Innovation, it secured 56th in the Arab world and 18th nationally. Finally, in the Participation indicator, it achieved 56th place in the Arab world and 17th nationally.
