Prof.Dr. Taha Ashour, Vice President of Benha University for Community Service and Environmental Development, conducted an extensive inspection tour of the production units at the Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor. He was accompanied by Prof.Dr. Mahmoud El-Zaabalawi, Dean of the Faculty, along with vice deans and a number of faculty members.
During the tour, Prof.Dr. Taha Ashour inspected the agricultural greenhouses producing various vegetables, as well as the intensive and open fish farms. He emphasized the necessity of improving their efficiency to increase production, in line with the university's commitment to providing all forms of support to the university's production units and farms across its faculties.
The Vice President of the University also inspected the hydroponic greenhouse located at the Faculty, which focuses on training students and teaching them modern agricultural techniques, enabling them to better meet the demands of the job market.
Prof.Dr. Taha Ashour stressed the importance of expanding production and optimally utilizing the available spaces within the Faculty, as part of the university's efforts to serve the community and contribute to providing food commodities at reduced prices and with high quality compared to their counterparts in the market.
