Benha University Issued the General Framework for the Academic Advising Unit in Its Colleges for 2026

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, the President of Benha University, announced the issuance of the general framework for the Academic Advising Unit in the university's colleges, which aims to clarify the mechanisms of academic advising and the role of the academic advisor in assisting students in planning their academic paths and making sound academic decisions. This initiative reflects the university's commitment to academically support its students and enhance the quality of the educational process.
Prof. El-Gizawy added that the guide includes a definition of the Academic Advising Unit, its mission and objectives, as well as the tasks of the academic advisor and the rights and responsibilities of the student. It also details the organizational procedures that ensure the provision of effective advisory services, contributing to improving students' academic performance and reducing academic issues.
The university president emphasized that the issuance of this guide is part of the university's ongoing plan to develop student services, support new and returning students, and help them adapt to university life and achieve academic success and excellence.
Prof. Gehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research, noted that academic advising is one of the most important tools for improving educational quality and achieving outstanding educational outcomes.
