President of Benha University Inaugurates "Self-Study Preparation" Course in Cooperation with the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority

Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, inaugurated the training program "Preparing the Self-Study Report (Amended 2015 Standards)".
The program is organized by the University's Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center in cooperation with the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) and includes a series of training programs as part of the preparations of faculties and academic programs for institutional and program accreditation.
The inauguration was attended by Prof.Dr.Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof.Dr. Mohamed Ghanem, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center. The program is delivered by Dr. Ghada Abdullah, an accredited trainer at the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
Prof.Dr.Nasser El-Gizawypointed out that Benha University has provided the necessary resources to build human capacities in the field of quality and accreditation, and to provide and maintain a modern infrastructure that meets quality standards to ensure excellence in the educational and research processes in line with labor market needs. He added that the university has established and activated central and subsidiary units for academic advising and psychological support at the university and faculty levels to build a sound personality and provide a healthy and secure university environment, believing that the student is the focal point of the educational process.
"El-Gizawy" affirmed that the university adopts a policy of sustainable development and investment in human resources through continuous training, while emphasizing the utilization of these personnel in activities and events related to quality systems for institutional and program accreditation at the faculty and university levels. These personnel are also utilized in internal and external reviews and mock audits aimed at improving the educational process and monitoring the implementation of education quality standards, which ensures enhancing graduates' efficiency to serve society.
For her part, Dr.Gehan Abdel Hady indicated that these courses aim to enhance the efficiency and develop the capabilities and skills of faculty members in the field of self-evaluation, preparing self-study reports, and developing plans for continuous improvement and development at the institutional level. She noted that the accreditation of a number of academic programs boosts the confidence of the local and international community and elevates international rankings, which reflects positively on the academic and educational reputation of Benha University.
Dr. Mohamed Ghanem confirmed that the second training package began with the implementation of the course "Preparing the Self-Study Report for Institutional Accreditation (Amended 2015 Standards)", which continues over three days. A total of 29 faculty members and a number of academic leaders from various university faculties are participating in this package of training courses.
