Benha University Obtains Integrated Quality, Occupational Safety, and Environmental Management System Certificates

"El-Gizawy": We are Committed to Enhancing Institutional Performance Quality at the University
Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the recommendation by "AJA" Company, the granting body for ISO certificates, for the university to obtain Quality System certificates (ISO 9001:2015), ISO (45001:2018), in addition to Environmental Management (ISO 14001:2015). This follows the university's administrations undergoing an external audit process for the Quality Management System and a review of Occupational Safety and Health procedures and Environmental Management according to standard specifications.
This came during the closing meeting of the audit team's visit from the "AJA" institution, the granting body for ISO certificates. The meeting was attended by Prof.Dr.Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof.Dr.Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Abdel Qader Abdel Karim, General Coordinator of Administrative Quality at the university, along with academic and administrative leaders, general directors of university administrations, and the University's Administrative Quality team.
Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized Benha University's commitment to reaching the highest global standards of quality and efficiency and enhancing competitiveness and excellence at all levels, in light of strengthening the quality of institutional performance at the university. "El-Gizawy" extended congratulations to all university staff regarding the University obtaining the Quality System certificates (ISO 9001:2015), ISO (45001:2018), in addition to Environmental Management (ISO 14001:2015), after the university's administrations underwent the Quality Management System audit process and the review of Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Management procedures according to standard specifications.
For his part, Dr. Abdel Qader Abdel Karim, General Coordinator of Administrative Quality, stated that the effective contribution of the university's work teams led to passing the audit and the recommendation for the university to obtain the ISO certificates. This comes within the framework of positive cooperation among all university administrations, wishing them success and leadership at the level of local and international universities. He also emphasized the continuation of improving and maintaining performance to meet client requirements professionally and distinctively.
