"Prof. El-Gizawy" welcomed the Head of the Egyptian Intellectual Property Office

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, welcomed Prof. Hisham Azmy, Head of the Egyptian Intellectual Property Office, today on the sidelines of the second annual international conference of the Faculty of Arts at Benha University. The conference, held over two days, is titled "Integration of Humanities and Technological Sciences: New Horizons for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals," where the Head of the Egyptian Intellectual Property Office delivered a lecture on intellectual property as a framework for knowledge governance in the era of interdisciplinary sciences.
The meeting was attended by:
• Prof. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research,
• Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Amgad Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Arts,
• Prof. Mohamed Mesbah, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
The President of the University praised the role of the Egyptian Intellectual Property Office in supporting innovators and protecting rights, emphasizing the university's commitment to enhancing joint cooperation to transform scientific research into industrial products. He noted that the office has played a significant role in developing the national intellectual property strategy in Egypt and in promoting the concept of intellectual property as an important factor in innovation and development.
Prof. Hisham Azmy highlighted the commitment of the Egyptian Intellectual Property Office to support partnerships between universities and production institutions, as well as national efforts toward a smart and sustainable knowledge economy that positions Egypt at the forefront of the region in the fields of creativity and technology.
