Benha University welcomed the Evaluation Team for the Integrated System of Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management at the University students' residential campus

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, received the evaluation team for the quality system (ISO 9001:2015), ISO 45001:2018, and environmental management (ISO 14001:2015) from AJA, the certifying body for ISO, led by Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Osman at the university dormitories in Kafr Saad.
The meeting was attended by:
• Prof. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research;
• Prof. Abdel Kader Abdel Karim, General Coordinator of Administrative Quality at the university;
• Academic and administrative leaders;
• Directors of the university dormitories;
• The university's administrative quality team.
The review team included Prof. Omar Osman, Engineer Mustafa Ahmed, and Prof. Ahmed Kamal.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized the university's commitment to achieving the highest standards of quality and global efficiency, enhancing competitiveness and excellence at various levels, in light of promoting institutional performance quality at the university. He added that the university dormitories are applying for the integrated quality, safety, occupational health, and environmental management certification separately for the first time.
Prof. Abdel Kader Abdel Karim stated that the purpose of the evaluation team's visit to the integrated system of quality, safety, occupational health, and environmental management at the university dormitories is to assess the performance of the quality system and to evaluate how well it implements the documented procedures in the integrated quality system and its objectives.
The General Coordinator of Administrative Quality at the university added that the review team will inspect all sectors of the university dormitories, starting from the administrative offices to the service units that directly affect students' lives, including restaurants and dining halls, to ensure the application of the highest standards of food safety and meal quality, residential rooms and facilities, examining the level of equipment,
maintenance, and regular cleaning, the digital transformation system, reviewing electronic booking mechanisms and fee payment, student interaction with digital platforms, and crisis and risk management to ensure the readiness of evacuation plans and availability of civil protection means. He pointed out that the review visit will conclude with a final meeting where the lead reviewer will present the results of the visit.
