Benha University University Cities Obtain Integrated Management System Certificates for Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management

Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that "AJA" Company, the ISO certification body, has recommended granting the university's University Cities the Quality Management System Certificate (ISO 9001:2015), ISO 45001:2018, in addition to the Environmental Management Certificate (ISO 14001:2015), making them the first university cities to obtain these certificates at the university level after undergoing an external audit process for the quality management system and a review of occupational health and safety and environmental management procedures according to standard specifications.
This came during the closing meeting of the auditors' team visit from "AJA" Company, the ISO certification body, yesterday evening, attended by Dr. Abdel Kader Abdel Karim, General Coordinator of Administrative Quality at the university, academic and administrative leaders of the university and university cities, and the university's administrative quality team.
Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy emphasized the university's commitment to reaching the highest standards of quality and global efficiency, and enhancing competitiveness and excellence at various levels, in light of strengthening the quality of institutional performance at the university. He added that the university's university cities applied for the first time to obtain the integrated management system for quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management separately.
El Gizawy extended his congratulations to all university affiliates on the university cities obtaining the Quality Management System Certificate (ISO 9001:2015), (ISO 45001:2018), in addition to the Environmental Management Certificate (ISO 14001:2015), after undergoing the audit process for the quality management system and the review of occupational health and safety and environmental management procedures according to standard specifications.
Meanwhile, Dr. Abdel Kader Abdel Karim, General Coordinator of Administrative Quality, stated that the effective contribution of the university's work teams led to passing the audit and the recommendation for the university cities to obtain the ISO certificates, affirming the commitment to continue improving and maintaining performance to professionally and distinctively meet customer requirements.It is worth noting that the evaluation team's visit for the integrated management system for quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management at the university cities aimed to assess the performance of the quality system at the university's university cities and determine the extent of their application of documented procedures in the integrated quality management system and the extent to which its objectives are achieved.
