President of Benha University Receives National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education (NAQAAE) Team for Institutional and Program Accreditation of the Faculty of Science

Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, received the external review team for program accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation (NAQAAE) to review and evaluate the Faculty of Science for institutional and program accreditation.The meeting was attended by Prof.Dr. Mohamed Heikal, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Dr. Mohamed Ghanem, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the university; and Dr. Mohamed Ali, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the faculty, along with the institutional and program accreditation coordinators.
Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy emphasized Benha University's commitment to forming partnerships with civil society institutions in various fields, providing scholarships for students and graduates, and maintaining continuous communication with community stakeholders through regular employment forums and joint training to enhance practical skills efficiency. This aims to support and develop the educational process in accordance with quality standards to elevate and improve the university's institutional and academic reputation.He also affirmed that the university administration has provided all necessary requirements and resources for faculties and programs seeking academic accreditation from NAQAAE.El Gizawy added that the Faculty of Science is applying for both institutional and program accreditation, noting the university's commitment to continuing its efforts in applying quality standards to all university faculties and academic programs.
Meanwhile, Prof.Dr. Mohamed Ghanem added that the external review team will visit the faculty to examine the practical practices, activities, and documents related to institutional and program accreditation, and conduct interviews with all target groups, including faculty leadership, program directors, faculty members, students, administrative staff, alumni, and community stakeholders, in addition to inspecting the infrastructure, laboratories, workshops, and teaching halls.
It is worth noting that the external review teams' visit from NAQAAE to the Faculty of Science will continue from February 14 to 17.
