President of Benha University met the Education Sector Director of Microsoft North Africa

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, met Eng. Amr El-Masri, Education Sector Director of Microsoft North Africa, to discuss a joint plan to activate and promote the adoption of Microsoft 365 accounts for Benha University students and maximize the benefits from the agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education in Egypt.
This meeting was attended by :
• Prof. Gehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research,
• Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Ahmed Taha, Executive Director of Information at the universty.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that proposals were discussed to integrate artificial intelligence technology into the educational experience based on Microsoft's experiences in the education sector in the region. Additionally, they reviewed plans to activate Microsoft 365 for students, the mechanism for providing accounts, communication campaigns, student orientation journeys, and support models. This is part of the efforts to support digital transformation and enhance the use of modern technologies in the educational process, contributing to the development of the education system and improving the quality of services provided within the university. He highlighted the importance of active participation from all students and faculty members to benefit from this unique opportunity.
Prof. El-Gizawy also explained that they discussed plans for empowering and training students, faculty members, and administrators, along with a program for enabling ambassadors in collaboration with the company.
The university's vice presidents and the Education Sector Director of Microsoft North Africa inaugurated outstanding activities on the university campus at the Faculty of Commerce and Arts, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Microsoft Corporation. This included organizing a live meeting between students and Microsoft representatives to learn about the latest technical solutions and services that enable students and faculty members to achieve maximum benefit in their studies and scientific research, with the opportunity to take internationally accredited tests at no additional cost.
