Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Karam Abdel-Ghani, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, and Prof. Osama Nada, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, the Faculties of Applied Arts and Computers and Artificial Intelligence organized awareness campaigns at the Martyr Samir Nasif Preparatory School in Shiblanga village, Benha Center. This was coordinated with Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant University Secretary for Community Service and Environmental Development, as part of the university's commitment to enhancing its community role and believing in the importance of raising awareness among youth about entrepreneurship and its role in community development, as well as increasing societal awareness of the most impactful issues within the community.
Prof. Nevin Farouk, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development, stated that the awareness campaign for the Faculty of Applied Arts included a series of workshops to train students in leather crafting by creating simple models suitable for their age, focusing on making keychains and leather wallets.
Prof. Eman Mounir, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence for Community Service and Environmental Development, pointed out that the awareness campaign for the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence involved educating students about internet risks, including privacy and data protection, fraud and phishing links, the dangers of gaming and social media, bullying, and digital addiction. She noted the participation of both Prof. Ayat Abdel-Rahman and Prof. Sayed Moawad in the campaign.
