Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, has decided to suspend in-person classes on, Wednesday, and Thursday, across the university's various faculties, while continuing online education due to adverse weather conditions.
The university president stated that the decision was made based on forecasts indicating unstable weather, according to a statement from the General Authority for Meteorology. He noted that medical staff, university security personnel, dormitory staff, and those working in health and safety departments, as well as those whose work requires their presence to ensure proper management of the situation within the university and faculties, are exempt from this decision.
Prof. El-Gizawy added that university security will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of the campus during the suspension of classes. May God protect our country, all members of Benha University, and the great Egyptian people.
