Benha University Successfully Eradicated Illiteracy for 3,745 Citizens in January Course

• The university ranks among the top ten Egyptian universities in eradicating illiteracy according to the General Authority for Adult Education report.
• Prof. El-Gizawy: We are committed to achieving a distinguished level of quality of life for citizens and eradicating their illiteracy. Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the university successfully eradicated illiteracy for 3,745 citizens, according to the results of the January 2026 course announced by the General Authority for Adult Education.
Prof. El-Gizawy confirmed that the university ranked tenth among Egyptian universities in eradicating illiteracy, according to the General Authority for Adult Education report. This achievement aligns with Benha University's national commitments to provide a distinguished quality of life for citizens by eradicating illiteracy, in line with the goals of the Sustainable Development Plan "Egypt Vision 2030."
The university president noted that they pay significant attention to the illiteracy eradication program, which is implemented by the university's faculty members and students to help the citizens of Kalyobiya Governorate, under the supervision of university specialists participating in the project.
The number of enrolled participants in the course at the university level reached 4,322, with 3,798 attendees and 3,745 successful candidates.
