"Prof. El-Gizawy": We are keen to keep pace with the rapid changes in the job market.
Professor Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, inaugurated the second Employment and Professional Development Forum under the slogan "Start Development... Make an Impact," organized by the University Career Development Center at the university's campus in Al-Obour City.
The event was attended by :
• Professor Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University,
• Prof. Gehan Abdel-Hady, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research,
• Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Mamdouh Mowad Ali, President of the National Research Center,
• Prof. Ayman El-Shehaby, former Governor of Damietta,
• Major General Al-Hussein Farhat Mohamed, Executive Director of the Lakes and Fish Wealth Protection and Development Authority,
several members of the House of Representatives, including :
• Mr. Mujahid Nassar, Chairman of Nassar Group,
• Mr. Mohamed El-Namki,
• As well as various academic and administrative leaders from the university.
Professor Nasser El-Gizawy stated that the first forum for employment and professional development was a great success, serving as a platform for communication between students and graduates on one side and companies and institutions on the other. It opened new horizons for job and training opportunities and raised awareness of the importance of continuous skill development to keep pace with rapid changes in the job market.
Prof. El-Gizawy added that the second forum reflects our vision of ensuring that every student and graduate leaves a clear mark in the job market by possessing the skills and knowledge necessary for a promising professional future. He urged students and graduates to actively participate in workshops and meetings and to benefit from the experiences of the participating companies and institutions, emphasizing that self-development is the true path to making an impact and achieving excellence.
The university president expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all participating companies, sponsors, and speakers who supported this forum, as well as to the organizing committees that worked hard to present this event in a manner befitting Benha University.
Prof. Sahar Abdel-Rahman, Director of the University Career Development Center, noted that the forum represents a comprehensive platform for building professional awareness among students and graduates. She emphasized that this year's focus is on developing innovation and entrepreneurial thinking skills and linking them to the requirements of future jobs, which helps young people clarify their career paths, whether in employment, freelance work, or establishing their own projects.
The forum witnessed broad attendance from students and graduates, along with distinguished participation from major companies and institutions across various sectors. The event also included a series of interactive workshops and professional sessions held over the weekend of March 28 and 29, focusing on developing innovative thinking skills, freelance work, and building startups, in addition to enhancing the digital and personal skills required for future jobs, providing participants with practical experiences that contribute to building their career paths more consciously and professionally.
