Cooperation Protocol Between Benha University and the National Research Center

Professor Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Professor Mamdouh Mowad, President of the National Research Center, signed a cooperation protocol between the two parties in various scientific, research, and training fields.
The signing took place in the presence of:
• Prof. Gehan Abdel-Hady, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research,
• Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Ayman El-Shehaby, former Governor of Damietta,
• Prof. Amany Abbas, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine,
• Prof. Mohamed Heikal, Dean of the Faculty of Science,
• Prof. Zainab Faisal, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Benha,
• Prof. Sayed Khater, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture,
• Prof. Sahar Abdel-Rahman, Director of the University Career Development Center,
• Several deans from the National Research Center.
Professor Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that the cooperation protocol reflects Benha University's commitment to collaborating with all civil society institutions to provide job opportunities and training for outstanding students and graduates of the university, as well as faculty members, to serve the educational process and participate in research and scientific activities, especially in areas of strategic priority for the state.
Prof. El-Gizawy noted that the areas of cooperation include all scientific and applied fields of mutual interest, encompassing joint research and projects that allow for the utilization of local and international funding, technology transfer activities between the university and the center on one side and the industry on the other, student and expert exchange, and mutual scientific supervision of master's and doctoral theses, as well as education and training at various academic stages, conferences, workshops, and organizing seminars and discussion sessions.
Professor Mamdouh Mowad expressed his happiness with the cooperation with Benha University, pointing out that the areas of collaboration include conducting training courses at the center for undergraduate students in rare specialties, utilizing the scientific library at the center, and providing access to books, journals, and scientific theses for all students.
