President of Benha University: Implementation of 904 Activities and Support for 1,021 Students from Underprivileged and Financially Struggling Backgrounds

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the implementation of 904 student activities during the first half of the academic year 2025/2026, with the participation of 77,525 students. The university also won 46 gold medals, 30 silver medals, and 19 bronze medals.
The university president indicated that tuition fees for 1,021 students from underprivileged and financially struggling backgrounds were covered through the university's social solidarity fund, totaling 1,121,022 Egyptian pounds. This reflects the commitment of the state and the university to ensure the continuity of the educational process and achieve the principle of equal opportunities. Additionally, the university purchased assistive devices and motorbikes for students with disabilities as part of its community role towards its students.
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized that the university prioritizes student activities in its strategic plans and works to support all initiatives that enhance students' talents and develop their leadership and creative abilities, making them active contributors to community service.
