Benha Science Students Won Second Place at the "Egypt for Energy Young Professionals" Conference with a Project on Artificial Intelligence in Solar Energy

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the students of the Faculty of Science at the university, the team (Core), won second place at the Egypt for Energy Young Professionals Conference and Exhibition organized by the Ministry of Petroleum with a research project titled: "Artificial Intelligence in Solar Energy: A Self-Adaptive Neural Control System for Smart Solar Panels." The team achieved a remarkable accomplishment that reflects the quality of the work done, the strength of the idea, and the commitment to all participation requirements in the field of renewable energy.
Prof. El-Gizawy congratulated the winning students at the conference, affirming that this achievement is a result of the academic support provided by the university, which in turn contributes to developing students' skills and encouraging them to innovate and connect theoretical aspects with practical applications in vital sectors, especially the energy sector.
Prof. Mohamed Heikal, Dean of the Faculty of Science, indicated that the students' participation in the conference confirms the ability of the college's students to engage with real challenges and compete at both local and international levels, enhancing the university's reputation and supporting its direction towards excellence and leadership.
He added that the conference aimed to nurture future talents and inspire the next generation of innovators in the field of energy, engineers, and sustainability advocates. The program provides university and high school students with the opportunity to gain practical insights into the evolving energy landscape through hands-on experiences, panel discussions, competitions, and interactive workshops.
