Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, honored the students of the Faculty of Science who won second place at the "Egypt for Energy" conference and exhibition organized by the Ministry of Petroleum with a research project titled: "Artificial Intelligence in Solar Energy: An Adaptive Neural Control System for Smart Solar Panels." This recognition is part of his ongoing commitment to support and encourage university students and graduates to participate in scientific and international competitions.
The ceremony was attended by:
• Prof. Mohamed Heikal, Dean of the Faculty of Science,
• Prof. Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs,
• The winning students.
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized that the university is proud of its students and is committed to supporting every promising talent while providing an environment conducive to research and innovation. "You are our ambassadors for the future, and with you, the nation will rise," he stated, affirming that this achievement reflects the academic support provided by the university, which contributes to developing students' skills and encourages them to innovate and connect theoretical aspects with practical applications in vital sectors, especially the energy sector, through the quality of work and the strength of ideas and adherence to all requirements for participation in the field of renewable energy.
The conference aimed to nurture future talents and inspire the next generation of innovators in the energy sector, engineers, and sustainability advocates. The program provides university and high school students with practical opportunities to understand the evolving energy landscape through hands-on experiences, discussions, competitions, and interactive workshops.
