Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, attended the university's celebration of Orphan's Day, organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector.
The event was attended by:
• Prof. Gehan Abd El-Hady, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research,
• Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Tamer Arafa, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science,
• several college Vices,
• Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized that organizing this celebration and similar events reflects Benha University's commitment to enhancing its community role by providing care for various groups in different fields, especially orphans, as they are an integral part of society.
He added that the participation of university students in the celebration is a model of positive interaction between the university and the local community, praising those responsible for organizing the event for their efforts to provide psychological and social support to orphaned children and bring joy to their hearts.
The celebration featured various activities, games, and entertainment shows for the children, along with the distribution of gifts to put smiles on their faces.
