State of Emergency Raised in Benha University Hospitals during the Holy Easter and Sham El-Nessim

Professor Nasser El-Gizawy, the President of Benha University, announced the raising of the state of emergency in the university hospitals during the Holy Easter and Sham El-Nessim. He directed the necessity of ensuring the availability of essential medicines and medical supplies, and having all medical specialties and nursing teams present to receive any medical cases, emphasizing the importance of treating patients and their families well and contributing to alleviating their suffering.
Professor El-Gizawy confirmed that the university is keen on developing university hospitals and increasing their capacity in accordance with the comprehensive strategic plan adopted by the Egyptian state.
Prof. Mohamed Al-Ashhab, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Benha University Hospitals, stated that the readiness level has been raised in the emergency and critical care departments during the celebration of holidays and occasions, and sufficient quantities of blood bags and their derivatives have been provided to handle emergency cases.
Prof. Amr Al-Dakhakhni, the Executive Director of Benha University Hospitals, added that an operations room has been formed to receive any reports around the clock, in addition to organizing vacations and breaks and ensuring the presence of doctors and nursing staff while doubling shifts at all levels during the holiday periods and various occasions to provide the necessary medical services to patients visiting the university hospitals.
