Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the launch of a weekly training program for learning the Azerbaijani language free of charge at the university's Foreign Languages Center. This initiative is part of the collaboration between Benha University and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Cairo.
Prof. El-Gizawy stated that the training course will last for six months, with instruction provided by specialized professors from the Azerbaijani Embassy. The course consists of three levels, each lasting 24 training hours, with two-hour sessions held weekly on Sundays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The program is open to all members of the university, including undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as administrative staff from various faculties and university departments.
The President added that the aim of these courses is to enhance language skills and improve communication with international institutions. Additionally, the program seeks to open new opportunities for students and staff to participate in cultural and academic exchange programs with Azerbaijan.
