Cooperation Protocol Signed Between Benha University and Matrouh Health Directorate

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Islam Ragab, Deputy Governor of Matrouh, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Medicine at Benha University and the Health Directorate of Matrouh Governorate.
The agreement was signed by :
• Prof. Mohamed El-Ashhab, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of Benha University Hospitals Board,
• Dr. Ahmed Rifaat Abdelkader, Director of the Health Directorate in Matrouh Governorate.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that the cooperation protocol aims to enhance healthcare services and education, as well as joint training programs, to improve the quality of healthcare services provided in Matrouh hospitals. The ultimate goal is to deliver high-quality healthcare to the residents of the governorate.
He added that the protocol includes Benha University's provision of human resources, including faculty members (resident doctors, diploma holders, master's degree holders, fellowship members, and PhD holders), tailored to the needs of hospitals across various specialties.
Additionally, the agreement involves implementing structured training programs to promote professional development and support continuous education for doctors and healthcare workers in Matrouh's health sector.
Dr. Ahmed Rifaat expressed his happiness at signing the protocol with Benha University, praising its strong infrastructure, capabilities, and highly skilled personnel across various fields, particularly in the medical sector.
