Benha University organized an educational convoy at Emyaei Girls Preparatory School in the city of Benha, as part of its societal role and commitment to raising health awareness among school students.
This initiative was carried out under the auspices of :
• Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of the University;
• Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs;
• Prof. Marwa Mostafa, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing;
• Prof. Walid Talaat, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy;
in coordination and organization by Mrs. Rania Moataz Issa, Assistant Secretary-General for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and in collaboration with Mr. Yasser Mahmoud, Deputy Minister of Education in Qalyubia.
Prof. Faten Shafiq, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, stated that the convoy included an awareness seminar titled "Prevention and Handling of School Accidents and First Aid," aimed at raising students' awareness of proper emergency responses within the school environment.
Prof. Heba Zaghoul, Acting Vice Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, explained that the Faculty of Physical Therapy organized a seminar titled "Towards Sustainable Health." The seminar addressed evaluating the students' overall health status, promoting healthy habits and balanced nutrition, emphasizing the importance of early detection of postural issues such as scoliosis, flat feet, and back curvature, and providing guidance on strengthening muscles, improving flexibility, balance, and walking.
