Benha University Delegation Visited Óbuda University in Hungary

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that a delegation from the university visited Óbuda University in Hungary as part of efforts to enhance international cooperation and exchange academic experiences between the two universities.
The delegation included:
• Prof. Zainab Faisal, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Benha,
• Prof. Mohamed Saeed, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra.
The visit to Óbuda University was part of the Erasmus+ program aimed at opening new horizons for cooperation in the fields of architecture and civil engineering.
Prof. El-Gizawy stated that the visit reflects Benha University's commitment to supporting international partnerships and enhancing the quality of education and research in line with global standards.
The visit program included an official reception at the office of the Vice President of the university, where an introductory presentation about Óbuda University and its research areas was provided, along with discussions on opportunities for joint cooperation.
The program also included a visit to the Institute of Civil and Architectural Engineering, where a meeting was held with faculty members from various disciplines, showcasing the study system and highlights of distinguished projects. Additionally, a field tour was conducted inside the classrooms and laboratories, including the soil laboratory and the hydraulics laboratory, to explore advanced research and practical capabilities and discuss ways to collaborate in areas of mutual interest.
Óbuda University in Budapest, Hungary, was established in 1879 and is considered one of the leading technical universities in Hungary, distinguished by its focus on engineering, computer science, and artificial intelligence, and is ranked as one of the best universities in Hungary.
