President of Benha University met Faculty Members and Students at the Faculty of Arts

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, conducted an inspection tour at the Faculty of Arts as part of the regular follow-up on the academic and service performance within the faculties.
The visit was attended by:
• Prof. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research,
• Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Amjad Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Arts.
The university president followed up on the developments regarding the special programs file, praising the recent approval by the college council of a new package of these programs, which adds to the existing 12 programs. He emphasized the necessity of linking these programs to labor market needs and future changes to prepare graduates capable of competing.
He also praised the role of the academic advising unit, engaging in discussions with several students about their experiences with advising, revealing that the culture of advising has taken root within the college, reflecting the presence of a supportive and organized educational environment that effectively guides students academically.
Prof. El-Gizawy highlighted the importance of psychological counseling units in supporting students and helping them overcome challenges, urging them not to succumb to negative thoughts that may affect their mental health. He affirmed that the university represents a second home for students, and it is its duty to provide a supportive and safe environment.
He also inspected ongoing maintenance and development work, directing the engineering administration to expedite the completion of the new library facility according to the highest standards of safety, health, and quality, in line with the requirements of modern educational processes.
