Prof. Gehan Abdel Hady emphasized the university's commitment to supporting student creativity and academic excellence, and to strengthening the role of scientific research in shaping a brighter future for students and the nation. She noted that student participation—through research, projects, and presentations—represents a vital step in building their academic and professional identities, while fostering teamwork, openness to new ideas, and a spirit of innovation.
Prof. Taha Ashour highlighted that the conference reflects the university's dedication to promoting applied scientific research and linking educational outcomes with community and labor market needs, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030, which places innovation and knowledge at the forefront of priorities for building a strong and sustainable economy. He stressed that students are the core of the educational process and the hope for the nation's future.
Dr. Khaled Eisawy added that scientific research is the driving force of development, serving as both a method and way of life to advance communities and strengthen the university's position locally and globally. He noted that the student conference, held alongside the fifth annual conference in applied sciences, recognized 30 winning research papers, 4 published studies, and 4 success stories.
University vice presidents also praised the projects presented by undergraduate students, listening to their supervisors' explanations of research tackling diverse topics in applied sciences.
