Benha University has organized a specialized medical convoy in Bata village, as part of the “For the Hearts of Our Children” initiative, providing medical examinations for local residents.
The convoy was held under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University; prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; prof. Mohamed El-Ashhab, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of Benha University Hospitals; and Dr. Nermeen Adly, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. Coordination was overseen by Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary-General for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The medical team examined residents across various specialties, including 16 pediatric cases, 20 internal medicine, 23 orthopedics, and 18 ophthalmology, totaling 77 cases. In addition, 16 women's health cases were addressed. Free medication was dispensed, and several patients were referred to the university hospital for further imaging and necessary tests.
