"Governor of Kalyobiya": 46,000 tons of wheat supplied to silos and stores so far
"President of Benha University": 35 acres of wheat planted this year, adopting the model of the productive university
Engineer Hossam Abdel Fattah, Governor of Kalyobiya, and Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, inaugurated the wheat harvest season at the Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor.

• Several faculty members.
The Governor of Kalyobiya and the President of the University listened to a detailed explanation from the Dean of the Faculty about the wheat harvest season in the Faculty's farms.
The Governor emphasized the distinguished scientific and research role that the university plays in supporting the agriculture sector in the governorate, highlighting the importance of integration between executive bodies and academic institutions to achieve maximum benefit from agricultural productivity, especially in wheat, which is considered a food and national security crop. The attendees also learned about the latest scientific methods used in harvesting to ensure reduced waste and increased efficiency in supply, aligning with the state's plan to provide all facilities to farmers and improve their economic status.
The Governor announced that the total amount of wheat supplied so far has reached 46,000 tons, noting that supply operations are proceeding regularly and according to the specified timetable. He stressed the importance of daily field follow-up to ensure that all facilities are provided to farmers and to overcome any obstacles they may face in the designated silos and stores, confirming that the state attaches great importance to this vital file to improve the living and economic standards of citizens.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy confirmed that the wheat harvest has been completed over an area of 35 acres, which included planting the Giza 171 variety to produce genetically selected and scientifically improved wheat seeds, aiming to meet local market needs for high-quality seeds and provide suitable crops for the Egyptian market.
Prof. El-Gizawy pointed out that Benha University is keen on developing productive farms and adopting the model of the productive university, as part of its community service role and support for the state's plan to provide strategic commodities and contribute to food security, in addition to linking scientific research with the actual needs of society and solving industrial and agricultural problems.
The President of Benha University added that several important strategic crops have been planted within the Faculty of Agriculture's farms, including wheat and rice, in addition to introducing new crops that contribute to increasing local production, as part of the university's role in serving the local community and the people of Kalyobiya.
