Students presented various digital applications, artificial intelligence, and sustainability in the Egyptian business environment. One student team showcased their project studying the hidden impact of excessive consumption of short content on social media platforms on students' attention spans and mental health, focusing on the phenomenon of digital fatigue and reduced concentration. This project goes beyond traditional statistical analysis; it features a data-driven analytical framework designed to measure attention decline and digital fatigue through innovative indicators such as the Digital Overload Index and Attention Scale, making it an interactive analytical platform that not only presents data but also analyzes behavior, extracts patterns, and provides tailored recommendations to improve digital usage management, enhance focus, and boost productivity practically and immediately.
Another team of students presented their project, "Al-Muhafiz," an entrepreneurial initiative aimed at bridging the gap between education and the job market in Egypt through an intensive 45-day training program, focusing on preparing university students and recent graduates for careers in sales and business development according to actual company needs.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized the importance of supporting student projects and encouraging them, believing in the significance of scientific research and innovations in building a better future. He stated that the role of universities in the future will shift to being knowledge creators rather than just conveyors.
The President highlighted the necessity of leveraging student projects, marketing them, and employing them in knowledge investment. He stressed the importance of marketing these projects effectively, advocating for the adoption of these projects by "Bidaya Company" as an economic entity within the university capable of supporting student ideas and projects across various disciplines, benefiting from these outstanding projects to achieve a qualitative leap in educational outcomes.
The President of the University and his companions honored the students who prepared the projects and their supervising faculty members for their significant efforts in accomplishing this work.
